About the Role

In this role, you’ll support individuals with psychosocial disabilities to achieve their NDIS goals and live with greater autonomy and dignity. You'll build therapeutic relationships, encourage community engagement, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Facilitate uplifting, trauma-informed and therapeutic conversations
  • Support daily living skills: light cleaning, meal prep, and routine tasks
  • Follow individualised behaviour support plans and manual handling plans
  • Receive clinical training and perform high intensity care including tracheostomy care

 

 

Who You Are

We’re looking for people who are:

  • Currently studying psychology, social work, counselling, or a related field – or experienced in mental health support
  • Compassionate, trauma-informed, and calm under pressure
  • Strong communicators with a team mindset
  • Dedicated to supporting vulnerable individuals with dignity and respect
  • Committed to professional development and learning

 

 

Training Provided 
Our highly experienced Clinical Care Educator (RN) and operations staff will teach you how to safely and competently provide care in some of the following areas: 

  • Complex Manual Handling 
  • Bowel and Catheter Care
  • Mealtime Management
  • Tracheostomy Management.

 

 

You Will Have 

  • Mental Health Experience
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Driver Licence 
  • Vehicle with Comprehensive Insurance 
  • First Aid Certificate, and 
  • COVID-19 Vaccination (minimum two doses).
