Hours: 0730-1530 (flexible) Monday to Friday, plus on-call rotating roster

  • SCHADS Level 3 from $37/ph + super
  • Full time Monday to Friday
  • Participation in rotating on-call roster

As a key player in managing rosters and workforce planning, you'll help ensure that our team of dedicated support staff across the Hunter and Sydney regions can deliver seamless care to our vast client caseload.

Joining a collaborative and supportive team of five skilled Roster Administrators, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact while working in a positive and inclusive team environment.

Your role ensures that the right support is always available for our clients, helping them lead more independent and fulfilling lives.

 

  • Oversee and coordinate rostering tasks within a small team of administrators
  • Continuously monitor, analyse, and escalate rostering issues, ensuring timely resolution
  • Ensure shift hours are allocated in full compliance with Award requirements
  • Actively track and meet shift vacancy and rostering targets, ensuring adequate staffing levels
  • Manage and approve timesheets, leave requests and overtime, ensuring alignment with budgetary needs
  • Address payroll and timesheet queries promptly, conducting thorough investigations to resolve discrepancies
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders and staff, ensuring customers receive timely and accurate support

 

 

To thrive in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage phone-based and email interactions professionally and efficiently.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and guide a small team towards success.
  • Solid experience in roster management, ideally within the Community Services sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of the SCHADS Award and practical experience in its application.
  • A proactive problem-solving mindset and keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional time management and multi-tasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in rostering software, desirably Flowlogic.
