Your New Role

This role requires an experienced and motivated leader who can lead our team of approx. 20 Disability Support Workers towards success while providing outstanding service to our Participants across five properties. This is an administrative role managing staff induction, supervision and performance; facilitating staff meetings; identifying staff training needs; participant appointments and activities; health, safety and incidents; stakeholder engagement; and property maintenance and supplies. Participation in a rotating on-call roster is also required. 

 

Your Experience and Requirements 

  • Leadership experience in disability support services,
  • Extensive experience delivering support to people living with mental health,
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work proactively,
  • Experience meeting KPIs in order to achieve organisational goals,
  • Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal,
  • Expertise providing professional and responsive customer service to various stakeholders, 
  • Experience in the following areas:
    • Performance Management,
    • Incident Management,
    • Accommodation and Supply Management, and
    • Reporting Functions - regular and ad hoc. 
  • Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
  • Drivers Licence (learners not accepted), and Vehicle with Comprehensive Insurance, and 
  • Evidence of COVID-19 Vaccination x 2.
